Meet the Management Team…

Andrew Kaltz

Often nicknamed “The Doc”, following his successful stint as the BBC Job Doctor, Andrew’s name is synonymous with recruitment in the South East of England. He began his career in the industry in 1988 and before becoming CEO at First Recruitment Services held senior management roles with two large worldwide recruitment agency groups.

Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys his time as an avid Brighton & Hove Albion fan and season ticket holder and is active in various other sporting activities.

Claire Sipple

After holding senior consultant and management positions with leading recruiters in the Kent region for over a decade, Claire was head-hunted in 2011 to head up First Recruitment’s Kent & London operation.  Having successfully grown the Company’s business, Claire was promoted to Operations Manager and is involved in the expansion and development of the organisation.

As well as her previous sporting achievements, including representing the County at tennis, Claire can be found chasing her sausage dog, Dougie, through the Kent countryside or feeding her serious shoe addiction. She also has a second role as an unpaid taxi driver for her 4 children.

Mark Smith

Mark joined First Recruitment Services in 2002 having established himself as a successful recruiter with a small,  independent local agency. During his time at First Recruitment Mark has won a plethora of industry awards and claims, through his consistency, to have placed more people in more jobs in the Haywards Heath and Mid- Sussex area than any other recruiter. His nickname is 24/7 as, come rain or shine, Mark is at the end of the phone or typing away on his keyboard if there is any possibility of successfully placing another candidate with one of his favourite clients.

Away from work, Mark enjoys family life and can be found at the Amex with his two young sons cheering on the Albion or on the road following his beloved team.  He claims that one day the Albion will be “premier league like First Recruitment”!

Lara Inwood

Lara has been working in the world of recruitment since 2003 and joined First Recruitment Services in 2006. She started her First Recruitment career in our Horsham office where she supplied in excess of 150 temps per week and won many trophies and shields in honour of her success. She was then promoted to Manager and transferred to her home town of Brighton in 2010, where she continues to grow the branch with a winning team of well established and successful consultants.

Lara is a born and bred ‘Brightonian’ and in her spare time Lara’s biggest love is her rescue dog Misty who has made the occasional appearance in the office, gaining a reputation as the branch’s good luck charm. Lara also spends many a long weekend visiting her family in Spain and supporting her much loved Brighton & Hove Albion.

Hannah Wiltshire

Hannah graduated from University in 2007 and fell into the industry, taking a graduate training position with an engineering recruitment agency in Sussex. Hannah moved into commercial recruitment with First Recruitment Services in 2009, where after three years as an award winning Consultant, she was promoted to Manager of the Horsham office in 2012.

Outside of work, Hannah is a self confessed fitness freak with running, muay thai boxing and boot camps at the top of her activity list. She takes part in numerous athletic charity events including the Brighton Marathon and continually tries to challenge her physical limits.

 

Nicola Gravely

Nicola has held senior consultant and management positions within recruitment for over 12 years and joined First Recruitment as Manager of our Maidstone office in 2016. Her wealth of experience in recruitment spans over many sectors & industries and over the years she has won numerous awards for her achievements.

Away from work, Nicola enjoys nothing more than spending quality time with her daughter and husband and she is also an avid “gym bunny”. She can be found exercising most evenings or out training for her next big running event raising money for various charities and good causes.

 

Christina May

Christina manages the Accounting function at First Recruitment Services. In a career spread across a number of service industries, Christina has gained a wealth of experience in payroll, sales & purchase ledger, banking and Management Accounts. Her department is responsible for the weekly payroll of our temporary workforce as well as the general wellbeing of our Accounts process on a day to day basis.

When not sat behind her PC or calculator, Christina enjoys nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren, walking in the countryside and travelling. Her baking is also legendary and she is renowned for making scrumptious birthday cakes for the rest of the Head Office team.
