Accountancy Practice Manager Full Time Permanent

• Position:  Accountancy Practice Manager
• Salary:  £43,000 to £46,000 based on based on experience and qualifications
• Location:  Brighton, office based full time
• Hours:  37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

We are working with a fast-growing full-service accountancy practice to recruit a Manager – General Practice for the office in Brighton. The business provides accountancy, taxation, payroll, advisory and financial planning services to thousands of customers including businesses and individuals / sole traders.

The Manager – General Practice will:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients for proactive accountancy and advisory services
• Manage, mentor and supervise a team of accountants
• Conduct year end accounts for a range of clients
• Prepare Tax computations and review tax returns for a range of clients
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client portfolios, support in new business initiatives and act as primary contact for key client relationships

Skills & experience required:

• Qualified ACA / ACCA with experience in a similar role
• Strong experience in an accountancy practice environment
• Experience working with a range of clients for accounts, tax returns and similar

Salary, hours and company benefits:

• £43,000 to £46,000 based on based on experience and qualifications
