Credit Control and Customer Services Advisor Permanent

• Position: Credit Control and Customer Services Advisor
• Salary: £21000-£24000 depending on experience plus very good company benefits
• Location: Haywards Heath
• Hours:Monday -Friday, office hours – no weekends!
• No parking on site but very close to the station area and free street parking nearby

Duties / responsibilities include:

• Ensure that invoices issued to customers / suppliers are paid in a timely manner
• Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed time-scales
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
• Manage queries from both suppler and client in a prompt, efficient manner
• Regularly make contact with clients to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
• Handle any disputed bills and negotiate to collect payment within the agreed terms
• Be willing to take on additional ad-hoc duties as they arise

What you’ll need to succeed:

To be successful, you will ideally have some experience in a customer services / office based role. You will be an excellent communicator with good written and spoken English. You will be a strong team player, with the confidence to work on your own initiative when required. Candidates must have the ability to pick up new systems quickly and ideally should be familiar with Excel and other Microsoft applications
