Customer Account Executive Full Time Permanent

• Position: Customer Account Executive
• Salary: £26,000 – £27,700 per annum plus exceptionally good staff benefits, along with social events and annual staff party
• Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex
• Hours: Monday to Friday, standard office hours, 40 hours per week. 08:00 – 17:00 or 09:00 – 18:00. No evenings or weekends! Opportunity to work up to 50/50 home/office based once successfully passed probationary period. Full training will be provided
• East Grinstead based. Plenty of free parking on site for all staff. Around a 25 minute walk from the nearest mainline station. Buses available from nearest station to office location.

We are delighted to be working alongside our fast growing, award winning and very successful client as they seek to recruit an additional Customer Account Executive to join their friendly and growing teams in East Grinstead. This role is available due to continuing and ongoing strong business levels.

The role

As a Customer Service Account Executive, you will provide front line inbound telephone and email support to clients, understanding their bespoke requirements and providing a high level of customer response and service via phone and email. The key responsibilities of the role will include:-

• Resolving day to day queries relating to the successful delivery of goods
• Processing all customer correspondence in line with company service standards
• Working closely with Customer Services and warehouse Team Leaders along with external customers to ensure the smooth running of all contracts
• Managing live chat, dealing with any inbound queries and passing these on to the relevant departments within agreed time-frames

Skills, experience and competencies required:

• Previous customer service experience, working to deadlines and service level commitments
• Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel & Outlook
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good standard of written and verbal communications
• Previous knowledge and experience of logistics / delivery services (desirable not essential at all)
