• Position: Digital Print Minder
• Salary: £28,000 per year plus very good company benefits along with the possibility of career progression within the business. Salary review after completing six months probationary period. 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and good pension scheme. Paid overtime also available
• Location: Edenbridge, Kent
• Hours: Monday – Friday 07:00-14:30 or 12:00-19:30
• Role based in Edenbridge. There is plenty of free parking on site available for all staff – workplace based close to  Edenbridge station.

We are very pleased to be working alongside our large, successful and highly reputable client as they seek to recruit a Digital Print Minder to join their team at their site in Edenbridge. My client is highly thought of within their sector (digital packaging solutions) and offer an excellent environment and team in which to work.

This role is full time (Monday-Friday 0900-1630 during training and 0700-1430 or 1200-1930 once training complete).

The role offers an excellent opportunity to join a very established and reputable company in their modern production facility. There is parking available on site and my client is based close to Edenbridge station.

This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience gained within the Digital Printing sector, working as a key part of a friendly and busy team

The role – Digital Print Minder

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Production Minders, receiving comprehensive training to operate Gluing and Cut & Crease machinery. Overtime, there will be opportunities for further development, including training to operate the Digital Press.

We are looking for someone with a passion for working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving industry. Above all, you must be hard-working, conscientious, reliable, and eager to learn.

Full Xerox training will be provided alongside internal training on company practices, after successful completion of Finishing & Cut & Crease Training.

Duties will include:

Operation of digital printers and software including media and toner replenishment after successful completion of finishing equipment training.

• Pre-cutting stock to size using guillotine if required.
• File manipulation ready for printing
• Die cutting
• Feeding and packing on the gluing line
• Cutting samples when needed for customer samples and mock-ups.
• Pallet wrapping and strapping of pallets to be despatched.
• Quality checking of product
• Carrying out daily, weekly & monthly maintenance checks on the machines as required.
• Hand gluing samples and small quantity jobs
• Printing case labels and applying to jobs being despatched
• Flexibility to help in other areas of the business when required

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

• Work well in a team and alone
• Ability to work efficiently to deadlines and manage time accordingly.
• Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail levels
• Ability to think and react quickly
• Ability to use a PC & Mac confidently.
• Previous experience within commercial digital print is preferred, however training will be provided
• Previous experience within manufacturing, preferably within the packaging sector
