• Position:  Graduate Applications Engineer
• Salary:  from £29,500
• Location:  Eastbourne
• Hours: 39.5 hours Monday to Friday

Are you recent Mechanical Engineering Graduate looking for a role bridging your technical expertise with customer needs? My global client is looking for a Graduate Applications Engineer to join its team in Eastbourne.

Your role as a Graduate Application Engineer will include learning how to:

• Collaborate with the global sales team and customers, acting as their go-to technical advisor.
• Analyse customer needs, reviewing technical specifications, and crafting tailored proposals.
• Manage contract documentation and handover processes for seamless project execution.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and delivered.

The ideal Graduate Applications Engineer candidate will have:

• Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in a mechanical engineering manufacturing environment in the UK.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to solving problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
