Head of New Product Development Full Time Permanent

• Position:  Head of New Product Development
• Salary:  £Negotiable based on experience
• Location:  Lancing – Hybrid after probation
• Hours:  8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced Head of New Product Development to join a fun and innovative company in the West Sussex area. Working with big names you’ll need NPD experience and experience heading up a team, ideally having worked in the gift, FMCG or Retail sectors.

As the Head of New Product Development you will:

• Manage and develop the Product Development team in the UK and Hong Kong offices
• Analyse all products and review best and worst sellers
• Build ranges of market leading products, both licensed and non-licensed, for the target market in the USA, EU and UK
• Hold overall responsibility for the briefing of packaging and copy for all products and for the creation and maintenance of the critical path for all items
• Achieve margin targets across all products and ranges
• Travel overseas to trade shows and supplier factories as needed

Skills & experience required:

• Previous experience in New Product Development at a senior level
• Experience within Gift, FMCG or Retail sectors
• Ideally educated to degree level in related subject such as Product Design

This is a full time permanent role, offering a competitive salary commensurate with the skills, experience and qualifications you can bring. The position is based in the office in West Sussex, with the option of a hybrid model after probation period.
