Production Assistant Temp-Perm Temporary

First Recruitment Services are partnered with a Nationwide Company based in Haywards Heath who are looking to recruit a Production Operatives, to assist with more routine operations of electronic instrument assembly including preparing of cables, wires and parts, soldering electronics, setup and calibration of sensors, packing and labelling.

The role is a Temp-Perm
Hours – Monday to Thursday 7.45am-4.30pm
Friday 7.45am-12.30pm

Main Duties:

• Cable Prep – Measuring cables to customer length and preparing ends ready for connection to Instruments;
• Parts – using parts lists to pick parts from the stores ready for production;
• Soldering – Soldering wires onto electronics and preparing cables
• Setup and Calibration – Using our production software to setup calibration and                            test of electronics/sensors
• Labelling – using a PC, prepare labels to be adhered to finished products;
• Packing – ensuring products are complete and packed ready for dispatch;
• To support Production Technicians where required.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to listen and follow instructions. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required as well as a flexible approach to work.
