Sales and Account Manager Full Time Permanent

• Position: Sales and Account Manager
• Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year plus bonus scheme. Good company benefits, including staff discounts
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, office based. Hybrid working options are available after settling in/probationary period is completed
• Role based close to Haywards Heath with plenty of free parking for staff available on site. Due to the rural location of the offices, you will need to be a driver and have your own transport.

The role – Sales and Account Manager

My client is a fast-growing supplier of cleaning, hygiene, and workplace essentials to businesses across the UK. They’re on the lookout for a driven and experienced Account / Sales Manager to lead a small, dynamic team and drive both new business and account growth.

This is a very suitable role if you’re someone who thrives on building relationships, leading people, and being rewarded for your results.

Duties will include:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts, focusing on both retention and up-selling.
• Drive new business by identifying and converting new opportunities.
• Lead and support a small team of account managers and customer service staff (2)
• Mentor team members and help them achieve personal and collective sales goals.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience from first contact to order fulfilment.
• Work alongside internal teams to resolve any issues and improve service delivery.

Experience, competencies and knowledge required

• Experience in B2B account management or sales.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a small team.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• CRM experience
• Driver with own transport due to rural workplace location.
