Sewing Machinist Full Time Temp-Perm

First Recruitment Services are excited to be partnered with our long-standing client, seeking a Garment Refinisher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity, on a temp to perm basis.

Garment Refinisher duties:

• Operate automated embroidery machines to embroider designs on garments.
• Observe sewing operation to detect defects in stitching and notify any faults to supervisor.
• Using heat sealing presses apply customer logos to a range of work clothing.
• Finish and Inspect garments after logo application.
• Comply with all aspects of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Report malfunctioning equipment which requires maintenance.
• To keep a safe, tidy and clean place of work for you, other employees and visitors.
• Undertake training deemed necessary to allow you to carry out your work safely and efficiently and assist in your personal development.
• Assisting with general day to day department duties including Routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Assisting with warehouse support as required.
• Assisting with office support as required.

Garment Refinisher Experience and Qualifications

• Previous embroidery experience is essential.
• Ability to work accurately with attention to detail and efficiently to the highest standard of quality and meet timescales.
