Workshop Assistant Permanent

• Position: Workshop Assistant
• Salary: £22,000 – £23,000 per annum plus good company benefits
• Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
• Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30
• Due to workplace location it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport

We are delighted to be assisting our successful and established client as they seek to recruit a full time permanent workshop assistant to join their team based close to Burgess Hill

The Role

This position requires someone who can multi task and prioritise their workload. You will be carrying out a variety of functions (sometimes physically demanding) to ensure production targets are met whilst recognising and reacting to the company needs with high levels of attention to detail.

Daily tasks will consist of dismantling and cleaning mechanical products and equipment in accordance with relevant technical data.

The ideal candidate will have a good work ethic, hands on and can-do attitude, be able to think independently and demonstrate good mechanical ability

Full training will be provided and applications from all mechanical backgrounds are welcome

Experience required:

• Applicants must have a valid permit to live and work in the UK
• Fluent English, oral, written and reading
• Mechanical experience
• Excellent time keeping skills, organised and willing to work as part of a team
• Driver with own transport due to workplace location
