We are hiring a skilled Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a leading food manufacturer in Brighton. If you have strong mechanical and electrical expertise and are looking for a temp to perm role in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity could be ideal.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair factory equipment (60% mechanical, 40% electrical).
Diagnose and resolve faults to minimize downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance to optimize efficiency.
Support food safety and product quality standards.
Work closely with the Senior Engineer to improve processes.
Skills & Experience
Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with food production machinery, including conveyors, mixers, fillers, and checkweighers.
Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience, preferably in food manufacturing or pharmaceuticals.
