Our client, a leading distributor in their field, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their expanding team. This office is in a beautiful rural estate building overlooking the countryside.
Assembly Technician responsibilities
Ensuring accurate and timely build of Fibre Optic and Copper Cable Assemblies
Assembling from technical drawings
Run and maintain the companies special purpose assembly equipment to produce the above.
Assembly and testing of cables, connectors, and piece parts, where necessary.
Participation in problem-solving and fault finding, particularly in relation to assemblies and new equipment.
To undertake other assembly-related activities to support the assembly areas.
Assembly Technician requirements:
Competent in soldering essential, preferably to IPC standard, with copper cable/wire preparation an advantage.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Basic level computer literacy to operate internal Company systems.
Be capable of problem-solving and fault finding.
A good standard of general education, ideally to GCSE level.
