Food Production Operatives Temporary

Job Title: Temporary Food Production Operatives (Day and Night Shifts)

Location: Ashington, West Sussex

Salary: £12.36 – £14.21 per hour

Shifts: 4 on 4 shifts: 7am until 7pm (Day) and 7pm until 7am (Night)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing)

About the Role:
We are delighted to be assisting our reputable and successful client based in Ashington who is seeking Production Operatives on an ongoing temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Lining oven trays to prepare for baking.
  • Moving baking trays.
  • Ensure a clean workspace always.
  • Cutting baked goods and ensuring a quality finish.
  • Finishing products by hand with accuracy and precision.
  • Dating products ready for dispatch.
  • Packing products ready for dispatch.
  • Reporting any machinery faults to supervisors.

Shift Pattern:

  • 4 on / 4 off shifts
  • 12-hour shifts, 7am – 7pm

Requirements:

  • Must have access to your own transport, as the location is not accessible by public transport.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience in a food production or factory environment is advantageous but not essential.
