Junior Electronics Engineer Full Time Permanent

• Position:  Junior Electronics Engineer
• Salary:  £28000 – £35,000
• Location:  Horsham
• Hours:  Monday – Friday

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for a Junior Electronics Engineer to join their technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at an early stage in their engineering career to develop their skills within a supportive environment. The role focuses on product data management, technical support, and working with electronic components, offering great exposure across engineering and operations.

Junior Electronics Engineer Responsibilities

• Create and maintain part numbers and product records within the MRP system
• Support the setup and testing of Bill of Materials (BOMs) before production
• Assist with technical queries from customers and internal teams
• Review technical drawings and help identify suitable components and suppliers
• Keep product and supplier data accurate and up to date
• Maintain a library of datasheets, drawings, and technical documentation
• Support product inspections and quality checks when required
• Ensure all engineering data is accurately recorded and accessible

What We’re Looking For

• Basic understanding of electronic or electrical components
• Some experience or exposure to MRP/ERP systems (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Well-organised with the ability to manage workload effectively
