Marketing Executive Permanent

• Position: Marketing Executive 
• Salary: £28000 – £35000 plus very good all round company benefits. 22 days paid holiday per year, rising to 25 days after 3 years’ service, plus UK public holidays, Healthcare and good pension scheme. Social events: Regular team socials and Christmas bonus for those with more than a year’s service
• Location: Haywards Heath – with free parking available on site or close to site – also a short walk from the mainline railway station
• Hours: Monday-Friday 0900-1800, with a 1700 finish on Friday’s. Office based role.

The role – Marketing and Business Development Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join a progressive and growing law firm with a strong reputation for delivering practical, commercial legal advice to businesses across the UK.

This is far more than a traditional marketing role. You’ll work alongside an experienced marketing team, collaborating directly with solicitors and business leaders to raise the firm’s profile, strengthen its brand and generate new business opportunities. You’ll also gain hands-on experience using AI and emerging marketing technologies that are shaping the future of professional services marketing

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious marketing professional who enjoys writing, learning and contributing to business growth.

Marketing Executive – duties will include:

Content Marketing

• Interview industry leaders and subject matter experts to create engaging, client-focused content.
• Write blogs, website copy, newsletters and social media content.
• Produce case studies and client success stories.
• Repurpose content into videos, graphics and downloadable resources.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Digital Marketing

• Support the ongoing development of the company website.
• Help improve SEO performance and online visibility.
• Monitor website analytics and identify opportunities for growth.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns and digital initiatives.

AI & Marketing Innovation

• Use AI-powered tools to enhance content creation and productivity.
• Support the development of marketing workflows and processes.
• Research emerging technologies and marketing trends.
• Test new ideas and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Business Development Support

• Assist with event planning and organisation.
• Support award and legal directory submissions.
• Produce marketing collateral and promotional materials.
• Help manage CRM data and campaign reporting.

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

Essential Requirements

• Excellent copywriting and written communication skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Marketing qualification and/or relevant marketing experience.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Confident communicating with professional stakeholders.

Desirable Skills – not essential.

• SEO knowledge.
• WordPress or other CMS experience.
• Google Analytics experience.
• Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
• Basic video editing skills.
