Paralegal Full Time Permanent

• Position: Paralegal
• Salary: £25,000 per year plus very good all round company benefits, including private health insurance, 22 days holidays plus all UK bank holidays, good pension scheme and opportunity to be eligible for £5,000 – £10,000 worth of funding towards SQE fees. Salary subject to increase to £28,500 per year after one year and £32,000 per year after two years
• Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
• Hours: Monday – Thursday, 9am-6pm and Friday 9am-5pm, office based
• Role based in Haywards Heath with a car parling space if required. Short walk from nearest mainline station.

We are very pleased to be partnered with our successful, professional and highly reputable legal based client as they seek to recruit a full time Paralegal to join their team at their modern offices in Haywards Heath. This role is an office based position and offers an excellent and unique opportunity to work within a firm who will offer funding that goes towards SQE fees.

The Role – Paralegal

We are seeking to recruit a paralegal to join our superb client as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has either completed the LPC or has a qualifying law degree and is interested in studying the SQE part time alongside a full time job.

The starting salary is £25,000 per annum and If you perform well my client will want to offer a two year training contract, for which they pay £28,500 in the first year and £32,000 in the second year. Training contracts are commonly offered once you have worked for between 6 to 12 months and on the basis that the LPC or SQE has already been completed. For those yet to start the SQE my client can provide course fee grants of between £5,000 to £10,000, subject to certain conditions.

My client deals with leading technology start-ups and the owners of companies across a range of industry sectors. You would mostly work on a mix of both corporate transactional and contentious dispute resolution matters, while you will also gain experience in employment, intellectual property, commercial property and commercial contracts.

• Strong IT skills and social media awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deal with a busy workload and changing demands / priorities
• Enthusiasm to take on new challenges and broaden your knowledge base and skill set
