Production Operative Full Time Permanent

• Position:  Production Operative
• Salary:  £32,700.00 plus a 20% shift allowance
• Location:  St Leonards
• Hours: 45 hours over 5 days per week weekly rotational shift pattern, covering the hours of 6am-3pm, 2pm-11pm and 10pm – 7am
• Benefits: 25 days holiday per year + your birthday off, company matches pension contribution up to 10%, discretionary company bonus scheme

Have you worked with production tooling equipment, and used automated equipment on a production line? My client is looking for a Production Operative to join its team as an extrusion setter and operator.

Job duties of the Production Operative are to:

• Set up and run all automated equipment
• Interpret technical specifications from drawings
• Process recycled materials using compounding processes
• Maintain accurate records and update systems as required
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve and deliver to business aims and objectives

Skills and experience required for the Production Operative are:

• Five years’ experience in extrusion (preferably PVC)
• NVQ or similar in pipe and profile extrusion
• Practical problem-solving attitude and ability
• Experience of setting, operating and troubleshooting a wide range of production tooling within an Extrusion Environment
• Production schedule management
• Ability to work as part of a team
