Production Supervisor Full Time Permanent NEW

• Position:  Production Supervisor
• Salary:  Circa £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Location:  Newhaven
• Hours:  40 hours a week, Monday to Friday on rotating shifts of earlies 6.30am -3pm and lates 2.30pm-11.00pm

We’re looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well‑established manufacturing business during an exciting period of growth. The Production Supervisor will:

• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets for output, quality, safety and delivery are consistently achieved
• Lead, motivate and support production staff, setting clear objectives and expectations
• Maintain high standards across the shop floor, ensuring PPE, Health & Safety and company policies are consistently followed
• Support training, mentoring and development of new and existing employees
• Plan and allocate staff to meet production schedules, monitoring progress and resolving issues to keep production running smoothly
• Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Monitor raw materials and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels
• Support continuous improvement activity, efficiency improvements and quality enhancement

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Previous experience supervising, managing or leading a team
• Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and production reporting tools
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with a strong drive for results
• NVQ Level 3 in Supervisory Management (or equivalent)
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
