We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and innovative organisation seeking an experienced Project Delivery Lead to join their growing team in Newhaven. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Friday,8:30am to 4:00pm. This is an exciting opportunity for a construction-focused project professional to take ownership of projects from inception through to successful completion, ensuring delivery against programme, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
The Role
As a Project Delivery Lead, you will oversee multiple projects within a wider programme of works, working closely with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing multiple projects and monitoring progress against key milestones.
Producing and maintaining project documentation.
Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
Conducting regular project reviews and progress meetings.
Maintaining accurate project records and documentation.
Managing project quality and ensuring all deliverables meet required standards.
Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Managing subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Providing regular project updates and performance reports to senior management.
Keeping up to date with industry developments and construction technologies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and solutions-focused individual with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
You will have:
Previous experience in a similar Project Delivery, Project Management, or Site Management role.
A recognised Construction Site Management qualification.
Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, CDM regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
Experience using construction project management software such as FieldView, ViewPoint, InnDex, Insite, or similar.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project delivery independently.
A full UK driving licence.
Significant construction industry experience, ideally 5+ years.
