Service Advisor Full Time Permanent

• Position:  Service Advisor / Service Advisor – Motor Dealership
• Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum plus very good staff benefits. Bonuses will take earnings comfortably to around £36,000 – £42,000 per year
• Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
• Hours: Monday – Friday – 08:00 – 18:00 plus Saturdays (1 in 2 or 3)
• Office based in Basingstoke.

Previous experience within a motor dealership / service advisor role is required.

Duties and responsibilities – Service Advisor

• Provide outstanding customer service to all visitors and customers, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the dealership’s service department, effectively communicating vehicle maintenance and repair requirements.
• Schedule appointments and manage the booking system to ensure efficient use of service department resources.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for services provided, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Handle any customer complaints and resolve issues effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and technical specifications to provide accurate information to customers.

Competencies, knowledge and experience required:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Customer Service Advisor in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of automotive products, services, and maintenance procedures.
• Good computer skills
