Our client based in Horsham are looking for an Account Manager with a background on Health and Lifestyle.

Duties

• Creating and implementing multimedia publicity campaigns on behalf of our consumer, beauty, lifestyle and health & fitness clients.
• To help manage a busy press office – writing and mailing press information, compiling coverage and responding to press enquiries.
• Updating clients regularly on campaigns and coverage, attending meetings and writing reports.
• Creating, writing and placing stories and features in media, both as part of a strategy and in response to changing news/trends.
• Event and photoshoot management.
• Reporting to Managing Director and Head of PR

Skills and Experience

• An experienced PR professional who loves scoring coverage for clients
• Previous experience working with beauty, health and fitness brands and individuals
• A good mix of consumer press contacts across print, broadcast, digital and social media.
• Must be an experienced client-facing account handler
• Able to write engaging copy, features and press releases
• Experience of working across social platforms with an understanding of content and engagement
• Ability to respond quickly to news or social agenda with relevant stories
• Ability to work quickly and under pressure across a demanding portfolio of clients
• Self-starter, able to manage own clients and media contacts
