Manufacturing Operative Temporary

• Position: Temporary Manufacturing Operative
• Salary: £11.44 per hour
• Location: Lingfield (Due to location access to own transport is required)
• Hours: 7.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

First Recruitment Services are delighted to be assisting our client who are seeking a Manufacturing Operative on a temporary basis until July. There is potential for the role to continue longer, with the view to become permanent for the right candidate.

The roles include:

• To ensure that Health and Safety is always adhered to.
• Ensuring all tools required are in working order and ready to use.
• Cutting material to size as per order requirements.
• Cutting profiles with cutting machines to required dimensions.
• Drill, punch and cut profiles to fit the end caps, fixing brackets and post holders.
• Picking orders for customers, as per their orders.
• Packing and preparation of glass.

Experience

• Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or product assembly environment.
• Good working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
• Ability to follow manufacturing schedules, measurements, and technical drawings.
• Forklift license is advantageous but not essential.
