Quality Auditor Full Time Permanent Temp-Perm Temporary NEW

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Quality Auditor to join their fast-paced manufacturing operation. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the successful candidate, offering stability and the chance to develop within a high-performing quality team.

The working hours are Sunday to Thursday night 22:00 – 06:00 (40 hours per week) and the hourly pay rate is £15.40 per hour. This role is based in Shoreham-by-Sea.

The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high food safety and quality standards, supporting BRC accreditation, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out GMP and CCP audits and ensuring accurate documentation and traceability
• Monitoring food safety standards, reporting and resolving quality issues with production teams
• Conducting sampling, swabbing, and testing for allergens and microbiological checks
• Managing temperature controls, equipment calibration, and validation activities
• Investigating non-conformances, complaints, and out-of-spec results, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Supporting audits, product launches, and training colleagues on quality and food safety procedures
• Maintaining records, systems, and documentation to ensure compliance

About You

• Previous experience in a quality/technical role within manufacturing or FMCG
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and train others
• Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload
• Food Safety/HACCP Level 2 (desirable, training can be provided)
