Warehouse Operative Full Time Permanent

• Position: Warehouse Operative
• Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
• Location: Patridge Green
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
• Free onsite parking, early finish on a Friday, 23 days annual leave + bank holidays + closed over Christmas

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Partridge Green on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience, including goods-in processes, stock control, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment, updating stock systems, unloading deliveries, and ensuring stock is stored accurately.

Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:

• Receive, inspect, and book in goods, maintaining accurate stock records
• Process subcontractor-manufactured assemblies and prepare component kits
• Unload, store, and move stock safely within the warehouse
• Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and housekeeping
• Carry out stock checks and support inventory control activities
• Assist with packing, dispatch, and the timely fulfilment of customer orders
• Support basic production and assembly tasks where required
• Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment

Requirements for the Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, goods-in, or stock control role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to handle and move stock and materials safely
• Basic computer skills for stock booking and inventory systems
• Flexible approach and willingness to support other operational areas when required.

Benefits, Salary and Hours for the Warehouse Operative:

• Full-time, permanent position based in Partridge Green
• Salary between £26,000 – £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an early finish at 4:30pm on Fridays
• Free onsite parking
• 23 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown
