Warehouse Operative Full Time Permanent

• Salary: £25,000
• Location: Portslade
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5pm, Friday finish at 4pm

Are you a Warehouse Operative with at least 2 years’ hands-on experience?

We’re supporting a Portslade-based company that’s looking for someone confident in a warehouse environment. If you’ve worked across goods-in and goods-out, handled heavy loads, and know your way around picking and inspecting orders – this could be a great fit.

Warehouse experience is essential, and while a forklift licence or FLT experience would be a bonus, they’re happy to offer in-house training if you’re keen to learn.

It’s a friendly team, and they’re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and ready to hit the ground running.

As a Warehouse Operative, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Picking, packing, and inspecting goods for dispatch
• Storing goods correctly and safely within the warehouse
• Operating labelling machines
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Driving forklift tuck
• Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting stock takes

Requirements for the Warehouse Operative:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Prior experience in a warehouse setting
• Forklift experience (desirable but not essential)

The Warehouse Operative is a full time permanent position working in a warehouse based in Portslade, Brighton. You’ll be working Monday to Thursday between 8:30am-9am start to 5pm-5:30pm finish with a 4:00pm/4:30pm finish on Fridays. The role offers an annual salary of £25,000.
