Sales Support Co-Ordinator Full Time Permanent NEW

• Position: Sales Support Co-Ordinator
• Salary: £30,000-£32,000 plus very good all round company benefits, including good pension scheme and private health insurance after successful completion of the probationary period. A bonus scheme is also available, which is based upon company and personal targets. 20 days holiday plus all UK bank holidays, plus Christmas shutdown which gives an additional 3 to 4 days additional holiday per year.
• Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
• Hours: Monday – Thursday 0845-1715 and Friday 0845-1600. Office based role. Requests can be made to work 1 day per week from home after 6 month probationary period.
• Role based in Burgess Hill with parking available for staff on site and a short walk from the station area.

The role – Sales Support Co-ordinator

My client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Support Co-ordinator to join their team. This is a key role, providing proactive sales support to Business Development Managers and their focus markets, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

You will be responsible for supporting customers with enquiries, quotations, orders and contracts, while helping to drive business growth through excellent service and efficient administration. The successful candidate will be organised, results-oriented, an excellent communicator and enjoy working collaboratively within a busy sales environment.

Duties and responsibilities include –

• Provide comprehensive sales support to Business Development Managers.
• Manage customer enquiries, quotations and administrative sales activities
• Support, lead management activities and ensure efficient progression of sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer information and activity records within the CRM system.
• Assist with contract administration and sales documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues across sales, customer service and marketing to achieve objectives.

Experience, skills and competencies required:

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• Some experience in a customer service or sales support role.
• Strong customer focus with good commercial awareness.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Experience using CRM systems is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An enquiring mindset and willingness to learn.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
